Compliance & certification
Every recommendation traces back to a standard.
We design, supply and maintain to recognised Indian and international fire codes, and document it so your audit trail is always complete.
Standard editions last reviewed: October 2026. Local fire authority and state byelaw requirements apply in addition.
National Building Construction Standards (SP 7:2026)
Replaced NBC 2016 on 30 April 2026. Its fire and life safety provisions are advisory and take effect through state and local building byelaws, so we check the local fire authority's requirements for every site.
Portable fire extinguishers
Extinguishers are ISI-marked to IS 15683:2018 (IS 16018 for clean agent), as required by the Fire Extinguishers (Quality Control) Order, 2023.
Selection, installation & maintenance
Extinguisher selection, siting, mounting and inspection intervals follow the fifth revision of IS 2190, which replaced the 2010 edition.
Fire detection & alarm
Detector spacing, zoning, cabling and panel commissioning follow IS 2189:2008, the current edition (reviewed 2023).
Safety signs & pictograms
Photoluminescent signage to IS 12349 and IS 9457, using ISO 7010:2019 pictograms with their latest amendments.
Emergency & exit lighting
Luminaires to IS / IEC 60598-2-22, with escape-route lighting referenced to the 2025 edition of BS 5266-1.
International benchmarks
For multinational specifications: NFPA 10:2026 (extinguishers), NFPA 72:2025 (alarm & signalling) and NFPA 2001:2025 (clean agent).
